Gracias sobre todo a sus interpretaciones, la película musical "Chicago" se convirtió este jueves en la más citada entre las candidatas a los Globos de Oro, que otorga la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera en Los Angeles, en una 60 edición con fuerte componente latina. Las actrices Salma Hayek y Cameron Díaz, así como las películas "Hable con ella", "El crimen del padre Amaro" y "Cidade de Deus" se encuentran entre las candidatas. Tras "Chicago" (8 nominaciones) se encuentran "The hours" (7) y "Adaptation" (6).

La actriz mexicana Salma Hayek competirá frente a cuatro estrellas anglosajonas: Nicole Kidman ("The hours"), Diane Lane ("Infiel"), Julianne Moore ("Far from heaven") y Meryl Streep ("The hours"). El título con más intérpretes nominados es el musical "Chicago", versión fílmica de la obra de Broadway del difunto Bob Fosse, que tiene nada menos que cinco de sus actores con posibilidades, aunque por la duplicidad de Renée Zellweger y Catherine Zeta-Jones en el apartado mejor actriz cómica sólo puede lograr cuatro.

"Hable con ella", de Pedro Almodóvar (España); "El crimen del padre Amaro", de Carlos Carrera (México), y "Cidade de Deus", de Fernando Meirelles, disputarán el Globo a la mejor cinta extranjera frente a la producción francesa "Balzac y la joven costurera china", la alemana "En un lugar de Africa" y la china "Hero".

La ceremonia de entrega de los Globos de Oro tendrá lugar en Los Angeles el próximo 19 de enero.
